Last year NGAMA began to schedule regional Commander’s Dinners. The Dinner held at three locations statewide was highly successful as over 100 members attended the events. This year all three Commander Dinners will be held in January.
The Dinners provides the opportunity for NGAMA and the Adjutant General to review plans for the upcoming year. The dates of the events have been scheduled and the exact locations will be announced shortly.
NGAMA President MAJ Nick Mascata announced his intention to schedule all three events in January. These regional Receptions are to expand and reach down to the Company Grade Commanders and to generate greater interest in NGAMA. The regional Receptions will be held in western MA, the Boston area and on the South Shore. This will hopefully make it easier to Members to attend; officers can attend the most convenient location and venue that fit their schedule.
Each Reception will begin with a casual social hour including complimentary food. These events will provide you the opportunity to meet and greet your fellow green and blue suit members in a relaxed setting and provide a great opportunity to network and learn. Following the social hour there will be a short leadership update from TAGMA, and or ATAG/LCC on current topics affecting the Massachusetts National Guard with time for questions. After the leadership update, NGAMA will brief on current initiatives, the upcoming membership drive, and information on the forthcoming 2015 NGAMA State Conference.
There will be no uniform requirement for these events. We encourage you to attend in what is easiest attire for yourself. The target audience is Company Commanders with other BN, SMC and separate unit Commanders.
