On 9-10 March 2018, the Massachusetts National Guard Officer Professional Development and NGAMA State Conference will be held at the UMass Amherst Fine Arts Center. The OPD features an outstanding line up of speakers who will brief on current developments in the Guard as well as provide important information on how every officer can further their professional career. The NGAMA Conference will include both Association business at the Annual Meeting and opportunities for camaraderie including the Saturday evening Casino Night Social. The schedule is as follows:
Friday – 9 March 2018

1600-UTC – NGAMA Business Meeting including Committee Reports and election of 2018-2019 Association Officers
1730 – NGAMA Casino Night Social with games of chance and prizes. Cash bar. UMass Marriott Center.
LTG Daniel Hokanson, Vice Chief of the National Guard Bureau will provide a State of the Guard Brief and will share the CNGB’s new initiatives.
Maj Gen Gary Keefe, The Adjutant General of Massachusetts will brief on Massachusetts initiatives
BG Giselle Wilz, served as the Joint Enabling Team OIC in Puerto Rico for the NGB will share her experiences and observations of the National Guard’s response to Hurricane Maria.
