Nominations for NGAMA Officers and Executive Committee Positions

Nominations may be done in one of three ways:

1. Written nomination. You can be nominated by submitting a written nomination signed by 10 NGAMA dues-paying members. The deadline for written nominations is January 1st of each year.
2. Nomination Committee. You can be nominated by the NGAMA Nominating Committee. If you want to be considered by the Nominating Committee, please contact us or email us at [email protected] no later than January 1st of each year.
3. Nominations from the floor during the annual Business Meeting.

The following positions are voted on at the annual Business Meeting:

Second Vice President (Army and Air) – The person who serves in this position will serve one year as Second Vice President, one year as First Vice President, and become President in their third year. The following year they will serve as Immediate Past President. The Second Vice is required to be an Air Guard representative every third year and an Army Guard representative for the other two years.

Treasurer – This is a two-year term; elected every other year.

Secretary – This is a two-year term; elected every other year.

Marketing Director – This is a two-year term; elected every other year.

Executive Committee (Army Elected) – Two positions available; this is a one-year term.

Executive Committee (Air Elected) – One position available; this is a one-year term.

Appointed Executive Committee positions:

The incoming President appoints one Army Executive Committee member and one Air Executive Committee member. If you are interested in serving in these positions, contact any member of the Executive Committee or email us at [email protected].
