Newly appointed National Guard Officers and Warrant Officers are eligible for complimentary membership in NGAMA/NGAUS for a limited period. Eligibility begins in the year of appointment and expires 31 December of the following year. Complimentary status is subject to verification.

Currently serving Officers and Warrant Officers of the National Guard may purchase an Active Annual membership. The membership year runs concurrent with the calendar year, but dues for the coming year may be paid beginning on 1 October. Active Annual dues are based on rank:

W1-W3 & O1-O3: $55/year
W4, W5 & O4-O6: $105/year
General Officers: $175/year

Currently serving Officers and Warrant officers of the National Guard may purchase an Active Life membership. Active Life dues are a one-time payment of $1250, paid as a lump sum or in four equal installments over a two-year period.

Currently serving Officers and Warrant Officers of the National Guard may purchase a Digital Life membership. Dues are a one-time payment of $625. This product is similar to the Active Life membership, however members will receive a digital version of NATIONAL GUARD magazine instead of a hardcopy.

Retired Life membership is available to former Officers and Warrant Officers of the National Guard or those who are about to retire. Retired Life dues are a one-time payment of $150.

Associate Annual membership is for Civilian and Enlisted supporters, OCS candidates, and ROTC cadets. Dues are $55/year.
